Moraga Community Service Day❤️

Care, Give, Connect 🙏🏼

Year 2- We’re back because you asked us to do this again!

The Town of Moraga has a rich history of community service, with residents rolling up their sleeves to help people in need and to make Moraga and its extended community a better place. Of these ideals was born the Moraga Community Service Day project, with the singular goal of bringing the townsfolk together to assist those in need, and help beautify our schools and town. This is your opportunity to help Moraga; to care, give, and connect.

These events encourage all Moraga families and individuals to sign up and volunteer 1-3 hours truly helping people in need, as well as serve the Town of Moraga. This year we’ve broadened our involvement to include churches and businesses, along with our schools and the community.

Key Projects Include:

  • Donating food and clothing for the unhoused, low-income families, isolated seniors, and foster children
  • Painting flower pots/rocks with messages of kindness donated to local seniors
  • Undergarments and toiletries for victims of sexual abuse
  • Helping the Moraga School District and Campolindo with beautification thru gardening and cleaning
  • Lady Bug Bags with feminine hygiene products for unhoused women
  • Shop Moraga Weekend supporting businesses with their recovery from COVID-19
  • Donate used sporting equipment for communities in need
  • Assembling thousands of eyeglasses for developing nations
  • Participating in sustainable gardening projects at Campolindo High School and Saint Mary’s College
